I was up and about as usual today at 6:30 am, I went for my walk for about 45 minutes. I am using leg weights now and I have two pounds on each ankle for my walk and so far I am doing fine. I walk over a varied terrain half up hill and half down hill. I hope to work up to five pounds on each ankle, that is a lot of weight but I’ll see how it goes.
I had two appointments today one was to get my RV fixed. The steps were bent by me because I failed to insure that they were retracted and I hit some traffic barriers in Tucson with the steps bending them so much they wouldn’t work. I asked an RV repair shop about fixing them and they quoted me a price of $250 to bend them back into alignment. I got it done here for $40.00. I have another problem and that is that my ABS light comes on and I am worried that there is an issue with the brakes. The local mechanics don’t have the diagnostic equipment to do the test here so they are going to call people they know in Mexicali and see if they can check out the brakes in there. If so then I’ll make a trip up to Mexicali and get the work done there. I also have some cracked fiberglass that needs repair and I can get that done here way cheaper than in the “Old Country”.
While my RV was being worked on I had an appointment to get my hair cut and a pedicure; counting the tip that cost me $25.00. I think they did a good job, what do you think?
