I’ve been back in San Felipe for a while now and I’ve been mulling over my options and I’ve decided to sell this house and move on to Lake Chapala. Talked with a real estate agent this morning and will sign the contract today.
I have lived here for over four years and it has been fun. It is time for this Gypsy to fold up her tent and move to somewhere else and start over again. This is the longest I’ve lived in one place, I think, in my entire life. I’ve enjoyed my garden and the building of the house very much and the neighbors and friends have been wonderful, but it is time to move on.
I don’t know where the restless spirit comes from I guess moving every couple of years growing up and then being in the military/government service and being moved whether your ready to or not has gotten ingrained in my brain. I’ll be a little sad to leave my little house here in San Felipe this place is special.

Well we will miss you but as you said “you must move on”. Happy trails Karen
I am only surprised that you stayed in one place as long as you did. I wish you all the best as always. Funny that you are moving on when I am looking to settle at least for a few years. Take care of yourself and do not over do things. ( yah right π )
Yup, always on the move like a butterfly looking for the next beautiful flower. I’m surprised myself that I’ve been here so long usually I’m gone in two or three years at the most. I guess I’m slowing up as I age π
Oh Julia, you will be sorely missed. You’re one of my most favorite people here. I do understand and I think you’ve made an awesome choice for your next adventure. Your house here is beautiful and I can only hope that the next occupant of your home fits with us like you do. Wah for us, yay for you! I wish you the very best always.
